Un•AI•ify is a tool that helps you identify AI-style writing and rhetorical patterns in text. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What Un•AI•ify Does

When you paste text into Un•AI•ify, the analysis runs in your browser. Your text is processed locally for pattern detection and readability scoring. We do not store or log the text you analyze unless you explicitly choose to share it.

Data We Collect

Text you analyze

Text you paste for analysis stays in your browser. It is not sent to our servers unless you use the "Share" feature to create a shareable link. In that case, the text and analysis results are stored temporarily on our infrastructure (a Cloudflare Worker) so others can view the shared link. Shared content may be retained for an indefinite period.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how people use Un•AI•ify. Google Analytics collects information such as:

• Pages visited and time spent on the site
• Approximate geographic location (country/region)
• Device and browser type
• Referral source (how you found the site)

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's Privacy Policy and opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

What We Don't Do

We do not sell your data. We do not require an account or login to use the core analysis tool. We do not use your analyzed text for training AI models or for advertising.

Third-Party Services

Un•AI•ify uses:

• Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — for usage analytics (see above)
• Cloudflare — for hosting and the share/save API
• Cloudflare Web Analytics — may collect basic usage data if enabled

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of Un•AI•ify after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
